Decent meals, some issues

I got the new parent meal delivery and generally, it was good. The variety of family style dinners was nice, and the heat and eat dinners were super convenient. Delivery took 6 days to get to my place, which felt a bit long. The portions were generous, but a couple of the frozen meal delivery items arrived slightly thawed. Customer service was quick to respond when I mentioned it, which was a plus. Overall, a solid option, but they could improve on the delivery speed and packaging for frozen items.

Good for new parents

I ordered the postpartum meal bundle after my baby arrived. It really helped out when we were too tired to cook. The ready to eat meals were a lifesaver. Everything tasted pretty good, especially the nourishing soups. It made those first few weeks a lot easier, just heat and eat.

Are Welcome Home meals fresh or frozen? Thinking about a postpartum bundle.

P PriyaMalhotra 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
Mostly frozen. They come packed with dry ice. Great for storing though, especially for postpartum.

Yeah, I liked that they were frozen so I didn't have to eat them right away.

Just got my first Welcome Home order. Anyone else think the portions are a bit small?

S SnehaGupta 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
I think they're fine for one person, especially if you're trying to eat healthier. Not really 'family style' though.

Has anyone tried the lactation snacks from Welcome Home? Do they actually work?

A AnjaliKaur 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
I tried them! The cookies were actually pretty good and I did notice a small bump in supply. Hard to say if it was just placebo though.

Thinking of getting a first order from Welcome Home. Is there usually a discount code?

N NehaJain 1 week ago ✓ Best Answer
Yes! Always check for a first-order discount. I usually see pop-ups on their site or try searching for one. They often have free shipping on the first box too.

are the postpartum meals genuinely good? like, actually nourishing or just basic frozen stuff? trying to decide between this and CookUnity.

D Derek T. 2 months ago
Def better than basic frozen. I had the soups and some of the family dinners after my second and they were super comforting and felt like real food, not just microwave meals. Way better than factor too.

I got a gift card from my parents and tried a few things. The lactation snacks were surprisingly good! And everything is fully cooked, just heat it up, which is a lifesaver when you're exhausted.
